                                                                                                                          Lionel Messi is one of the unique assets for a fan-owned club like FC Barca and has generated millions for the squad by just kicking the ball around the pitch. The difference between Messi and all the other soccer players is that he kicks the ball with the intention of getting something valuable out of it. He kicks ball for gold. That is what makes him the cut above the rest.

Even Pep Guardiola can support me on this one cause he once said; 

"I'm lucky to coach and manage this player," the Barca boss said. "He is the best. There's no-one else. He is a unique player because of his innate talent and also for his competitiveness. Guardiola - Messi's the best

In this respect, I do not see FC Barcelona selling Messi for any price whatsoever because he is one of the precious best players who make soccer worth the watch. it is safe to say that no amount of money can separate Messi from Barca.
The only way I see Messi leaving is if there were some huge internal conflicts (which considering the wacky history of the Barcelona administration, it could happen).

However, I do not understand why Messi should continue benefiting La Liga instead of generating millions for the Argentinian League. How ironic! He has been in Spain half his life from the time he was 12 years till now (24years). That makes him the kind of lad who will choose to play in Argentina when he is about to retire and tired. But not anytime soon.

Maybe, one day, Messi will think of scoring big with Argentina. Someday though! For now he is enjoying the reality with his Spanish family.
