Everything happens together for good to those that believe in the Almighty. This has always been, for quiet some time a motivator that somewhat drives me towards that particular goal that i would have given up on. I mean at that time when it constantly gets harder and harder while on the other hand you simply cant give up because you simply need to get there sooner than later. After being given the "I've got the final say" by the dean, i found myself holding on and God willingly, i got to see my results finally. All this was made possible because i never gave up. The hurdles and challenges made me stronger. To that i owe my courage and strength to God.
This experience was bitter sweet. Talk about gaining so much from so much pain, pleasure alloyed with sweat. In this regard, i would liken this predicament to that current upheaval Chelsea is facing. With the blues, it keeps getting harder and messier by the week. Adding salt to injury, Terry has an injury. Knee operation puts Chelsea captain Terry on sideline until April.
All there is to say is Chelsea will have to see this as an opportunity to get things right. Terry has been an hindrance to the squad and with him out, doors of success will definitely open up. Such times call for celebration rather than stress since the blues will do better without the old horse-Terry.
This is a bitter sweet moment for the blues!
This is to project the missing piece of the puzzle, to iron out the remaining creases and to close up the loophole in all avenues relating to soccer

Hegemony; a soccer match

| Red card to AVB from the blues boss.(www.squidoo.com) |
In this respect, Villas Boas' life is hanging by the thread. Its good that he gets fired because Chelsea momentarily need to get things right so that at least make it on top 4 and reaching the Champions League - respectively.AVB gets a nasty warning which is an indirect signal of losing his job pretty soon. Andre Villas-Boas warned 'any day' could be his last at Chelsea FC

What i learnt about today's experience is that life is like a soccer match, what you expect is not known. No matter how prepared you are for the match, the unplanned will happen. In this regard, only time will tell whether i access my results or not. Unlike AVB, whose life is dependent on wining in Italy against Napoli.

Going overboard... A big stretch

| trying to save whats difficult to save. (midwestsportfans.com) |
It's grossly frustrating to find out -at the end unfortunately that what lured you to it turned out to be the exact opposite or not what you had not anticipated. It's such a let down. The headline to the story was: Chelsea primed for Africa campaign. The story went like this: Berekum Chelsea are confident their first appearance in Africa will be a success. The defending Ghana League champions will make their bow in the Africa Champions League on Sunday against Liberia's LISCR FC. Chelsea are travelling to Monrovia with a squad full on international experience and club president Emmanuel Kyeremeh is hopeful it will be a good debut.
“I believe in my team and will do everything humanly possible to see them get there,” he said.
Chelsea are second in the current Ghana league which resumes this weekend and will effectively to boost the country's image in Africa after a run of recent poor results.
The first thing that would pop up in anyones mind is that the headline means Chelsea Fc. Which will somehow link with the recent Afcon. The mind will daze around the assumptions that Chelsea will take an African campaign in order to boost up its squad by diluting the team with some raw African blood. However, none of that happened.
Kick off.com did a good job by at least luring the readership to the story -in not so good ways. All editors must remember is that there are two kinds of readers. The "readership" and the "readersheep".

Chelsea In A Fatal Coma!!
At this point, i honestly see Chelsea in a state of unconsciousness, a deep sleep which they will not wake up from anytime soon. The blues have taken a U-turn from their winning ways and the road to recovery is pretty far. Even if i have the Chelsea blood flowing through my veins, sadly Andre Villas Boas has made it difficult for me to confidently wear my Chelsea jersey proudly. Yeah, your are absolutely right, i blame Villas Boas for Chelsea's current crises and in this respect, Chelsea can do much much better without the villain.
Villas Boas has shamefully and outrightly messed up at the Bridge and none of the Chelsea fans are taking this lightly. Chelsea has literally fallen from Grace, thanks to Villas Boas. The blues owner is left without a choice but to ditch AVB with only a eight months after firing Carlo Ancelotti. Well that's if the blue blood flows through his veins too.
Chelsea will be very lucky to finish on 7th in the log standings with Villas Boas as manager. The cost of replacing Villas Boas is plus 20million pounds and i see that as a good investment. Talk about good reddens to bad rubbish. Villas Boas is more of a liability to the squad rather than an asset because of his inexperience and lack of foresight. It is for this reason that i suggest that he should visit the National University of Science and Technology to widen his horizons because he must start to THINK IN OTHER TERMS when it comes to game plan.
Chelsea needs someone more than Makandiwa (a prophet), a person with zeal and good judgment, someone not myopic. The blues need the come back of the SPECIAL ONE, to bring the squad back to life. This can come to reality when Villas Boas is fired.

Final reflections on Afcon 2012
It was my first time to watch the finals of any big match at home -after a long time. In most instances, i prefer being around people. In such environments, the spirit of football is so overwhelming that it instantly creates the feeling of oneness, togetherness and emotional connectedness with your counterparts or opponents which is awesomely ayoba! However, regardless of where you get to watch the match from, the feeling is still the same. I watched the Afcon finals with family and it was fun to notice that everyone was entirely hooked on the Zambian side.
In reflection on the finals, i noticed that soccer is more of a religion and European based footballers have lost their shine when it comes to African Tournaments. Starting with the former, soccer is a shared religion because emotions are created when matching a match. It is for this reason that while other cry, some scream and shout after after watching any match. According to Jordi Xifra, civil religion is a religion that demonstrates both the moral and spiritual values of a community. It involves myths, symbols and popular devotion. Soccer as a religion was seen through out the finals especially during the penalty shoot out. Faith was the common thread that tied the players, spectators and viewers together on the finals. One in two people prayed on that night including myself. The long and short of it is that, what is normally done in church was done before, after and during the finals.
Honestly, Zambia had not much to offer in terms of foreign based players. It simply used the basics of playing soccer. Zambia used confidence, endurance, speed, determinism and hardwork. Despite the big names, Zambia was able to triumph over them. We can safely say that, big names do not win, teamwork does.
European football has never worked and will never work in the African soil. Drogba proved this on the finals!

Afcon 2012, the love of many
It came to me as a shock when my mother asked me whether the never ending zesa blackouts will disrupt the Sudan, Zambia match or not. Surprisingly, zesa did not disturb the live broadcast of the match. During the broadcast, i actually felt her heartfelt enthusiasm for the Zambian side and after the match she celebrated the fact that the Chipolopolo boys had made it through to the semi-finals. What i realized about her excitement before, during and after the match is that, she is part of Afcon 2012.
The stereotypes about women choosing soapies over soccer and men opting for soccer over soapies, were amazingly ironed out in most homes, thanks to Afcon 2012. The African Cup Of Nations Tournament (2012) is the most watched, preferred and loved in comparison to the previous tournaments in previous years. Almost everyone points out to the unpredictability of the games as we come to see teams like Zambia and Mali making history by featuring in the semi-finals in a long time. Afcon 2012 has awesomely grabbed and gained more attention, in Africa compared to 2010 FIFA World Cup. Afcon 2012 has projected the afro-perspective, energy and freshness of African football to the world, which i called the better side of soccer and it is for this reason that it is in the hearts of many.
Afcon 2012 has caught the eyes of many not only in homes, bars, sports clubs or country clubs but in Europe too. Uefa President Michel Platini is said to have cast his envious eye in the African tournament. Well, im happy to say that Afcon 2012 has revealed to many that African football is getting better and better with cliche squads like Egypt, Tunisia, Cameroon and Nigeria being booted out in the earliest of stages. Talk of the ant killing the elephant.
As for the champions for this tournament, i put my bet on Zambia. For those who would want to predict the winners of Afcon 2012, i advice you not to use Paul the Octopus.
